With 35 years of experience in all aspects of nonprofit fundraising, Brad Stith brings rich background and knowledge to each new challenge. His success can be attributed to a service-centered, collegial approach to philanthropy. Specializing in capital campaign management, transformational giving, principal-gifts, and planned giving programs, Brad enjoys accelerating development programs to reach higher levels of effectiveness and sustainability. He works closely with staff, board members, community partners and benefactors to create highly effective growth opportunities and “Raise More Money – Smarter!”

Brad began his nonprofit consulting career in 1990 as a director with the largest fundraising consulting firm in the nation. There he directed comprehensive capital campaigns, conducted feasibility studies and internal development audits, and eventually served as vice president. He then served as Chief Executive Officer of Nevada Ballet Theatre (NBT) from 1994 to 2000, during which time he successfully managed the capital, endowment, and construction efforts for the Donald W. Reynolds Cultural Center in Las Vegas. In 1999, Brad founded Philanthropy Development Associates.

Brad has served as a growth catalyst for numerous nonprofit organizations by designing and implementing strategic, capacity-building campaigns. He has provided in-depth counsel to community hospitals and healthcare systems, private schools and universities, museums and performing arts organizations, social service agencies and youth organizations. A sampling of clients he has served over the years includes: Smithsonian Institution, Sharp HealthCare Foundation, Dignity Health, University Medical Center, Opportunity Village, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, Safe Nest, Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada, Junior Achievement of Southern Nevada, St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, Bishop O’Dowd High School, The Harker School, Capstone Christian Academy, Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, Most Holy Trinity Church, Father Flanagan’s Boys Town, Adventist Health Glendale Foundation, and Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation. For more than three decades, Brad has played an integral role in securing more than $1 billion for worthy missions across the country.

In support of the nonprofit development profession, Brad has been a long-standing member of both the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), serving on the AHP Journal Advisory Council and as President of the AFP Las Vegas Chapter. He also served on the board of the Southern California Association for Healthcare Development (SCAHD) and the San Joaquin Valley Planned Giving Council. Brad has conducted numerous workshops, seminars, and webinars for AFP, AHP, SCAHD and many nonprofit institutions across the country. Brad is proud to have earned and kept current the designations of Certified Fund Raising Professional (CFRE) and Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG).

Brad has served on several nonprofit boards, most notably St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and Safe Nest - Temporary Assistance for Domestic Crisis. He also served on the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Medical Ethics Committee and is a graduate of the Leadership Las Vegas program.
